hard disk mount problem

Hi all, i need you help; i have a problem with my hard disk; i can't a mount my hard disk from to CD live and I can't boot ubuntu, for recover my files.

marks an error message : DBus error org.gtk.Private.RemoteVolumeMonitor.Failed: An operation is already pending

Help me please. really y need you help.

i am having live usb UPUNTU. So that i can mount all the disk drives upto dev/sda11 by the usb i.e /media/label and so on. i do not have cd writer.

There is no grub menu usually from the beginning . grub will present only if there are more than one operating system. is it so?

Hi,

So here i am bit confused. You had deleted files within /etc directory?
If you deleted /etc directory then i think it is not possible to recover you have to reinstall. if not!

then try this

within root terminal type this.... mount -a

try this
