no usbguard-applet-qt package for jammy?

Asked by Tilman Schmidt

I have installed the usbguard package on a Ubuntu 22.04 LTS Jammy Jellyfish system.
The package does not seem to include the usbguard-applet-qt program.
For bionic there was a separate usbguard-applet-qt package but for jammy I cannot find a package by that name either.
Is there a reason why usbguard-applet-qt isn't provided anymore?

Apparently the qt part is not provided by the original software any more and consequently it is no longer available in the Ubuntu package.

see the change log in https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/usbguard/0.7.5+ds-1 (three years ago)

  * New upstream version 0.7.5
    The upstream source does not contain the qt applet anymore.

and the related upstream change log
