I have a GPG error message, when trying to install XBMC ona a fresh 9.10 package
I have followed this http://
in order to install XBMC and I got this message in the terminal:
asrock@
[sudo] password for asrock:
Executing: gpg --ignore-
gpg: requesting key 91E7EE5E from hkp server keyserver.
gpg: key 91E7EE5E: "Launchpad PPA for XBMC for Linux" not changed
gpg: Total number processed: 1
gpg: unchanged: 1
asrock@
Executing: gpg --ignore-
gpg: requesting key 91E7EE5E from hkp server keyserver.
gpg: key 91E7EE5E: "Launchpad PPA for XBMC for Linux" not changed
gpg: Total number processed: 1
gpg: unchanged: 1
asrock@
$: command not found
So I then tried to add what I think is the relevant GPG key by typing this in terminal:
asrock@
this message appeared;
gpg: requesting key 91E7EE5E from hkp server subkeys.pgp.net
gpg: key 91E7EE5E: public key "Launchpad PPA for XBMC for Linux" imported
gpg: no ultimately trusted keys found
gpg: Total number processed: 1
gpg: imported: 1 (RSA: 1)
I again then followed the XBMC install instructions and got the following again:
asrock@
[sudo] password for asrock:
Executing: gpg --ignore-
gpg: requesting key 91E7EE5E from hkp server keyserver.
gpg: key 91E7EE5E: "Launchpad PPA for XBMC for Linux" not changed
gpg: Total number processed: 1
gpg: unchanged: 1
asrock@
I don know why this is not working, would anybody be kind enough to help me. It is running on a Karmic 9.10, only been installed a few days ago and alll of the updates completed.
Many thanks in anticipation

Looks fine to me. You can do it manual style:
gksudo gedit /etc/apt/
add these 2 lines to the bottom of the file:
deb http://
deb-src http://
assuming jaunty, if you use karmic, change the word jaunty to karmic (or whatever release you use)
You can then run:
gedit ~/key; sudo apt-key add ~/key; rm ~/key
paste the below text into the file, save the file and close it:
-----BEGIN PGP PUBLIC KEY BLOCK-----
Version: SKS 1.0.10

BwMCBBUCCAMEFgI
BYqak7pD0JDaGy9
qqNeFpUivvz8RzP
ow==
=Mur8
-----END PGP PUBLIC KEY BLOCK-----
This will add the GPG key, you can then run:
sudo apt-get update; sudo apt-get install xbmc

Hi,
thanks so much the problem was solved through adding the repositories manually.

sorry I mean to say that I added the gpg key by following advice of actionparsnip here.
