Problems after upgrading to ubuntu 9.10.1

I've few setting problems after upgrading to ubuntu 9.10
sorry bothering, I'm a new entry and I've still a lot to understand
first of all, now my windows opens maximized with no title bar and is not so immediate to work with them, minimize or close.
second my file browser nautilus don't show (show an error) nor the other partition with Vista, nor my network.
I tried to uninstall and reinstall Nautilus again.... disaster!!!!!
third my tsclient that worked very well before, now only connect to localhost and absolutely not with ipadress or other.
another thing that is annoying me is that menu bar on gnome desktop very nice but is redundant ad I don't know how to quit.
