ubunto browsers, firefox 75 and 103 will not allow godaddy login.

Asked by techselfhelp

Since Oct 22, 2022, Firefox 75, 98, and 103. Will not allow Godaddy.com login.
Tested in Win7 and in Ubuntu booted from disc no install, at different locations, with 4 different ip addresses.
Cant get Ubuntu to work, even if Firefox is upgraded to version 106.
In "one" of a dozen attempts to upgrade Firefox, ver 106 in win7 allowed login.
NO explanation for what is going wrong.

Meanwhile can browse internet, check bank accounts, credit card accounts, and email. No problem.
Just blocking godaddy.com login.

Also, since Oct 22, 2022, from Win7, Dreamweaver and Netbeans will NOT connect to Godaddy server with ssh/sftp.
Also, since Oct 22, 2022, from Ubuntu 20.04 and 22.04, Netbeans will NOT connect to Godaddy server with ssh/sftp.

The ATTACK seams to block connections to Godaddy specifically.
The ATTACK appears to be independent of operating system, affecting Win7, Ubuntu 20.04 booted from disc with no access to win7 OS on any hdd and Ubuntu 22.04 booted from disc with NO access to win7 OS on any hdd.

The ATTACK appears to be independent of ip address, more than 4 ip addresses have been tested accross 2 different geographical locations.
The ATTACK appears to span at least 3 different routers each having its own ip address and internet service connection.

Any ideas?

Here is a couple of settings to check in Firefox
Firefox settings -> Privacy & Security -> Permissions -> Uncheck mark - Block Pop-up windows.
Privacy & Security -> Browser Privacy -> Click - Standard setting

Can you open the page https://godaddy.com, but not login to that site, or do you get a failure already for the attempt to access https://godaddy.com ?

Have you asked for help at at your network provider?

Can you help with this problem?
