did not installed program

Can you specify which program?

can you please open a terminal and type or copy&paste the following in there:

sudo dpkg --configure -a

You'll find the terminal (it's a command line interface) in
Applications -> Accessories -> Terminal ##on the top panel (sort of task bar)

It will ask for your login password, while you type, there wont appear stars or alike, you'll type blind, but it will still recognize your password, then hit enter.

There will be an output what the package manager is doing, please copy&paste the output in your answer.
Left mouse click on the output, highlight all and paste it with middle mouse click or right click and choose copy, then right click here and choose paste.
