Update Manager don't install new update

Asked by Chiwaki

After check, I pressed Install update but no action was taken
Since I can type in to this web page, Internet isn't down

And no error message appear

And also no update list can find to fix window boundary disappeared fix

I am using 9.04 almost latest since very often I update

Please paste the output of typing the following into a terminal

sudo apt-get update

and

sudo apt-get upgrade

But why GUI don't have menu to do it ?

You should be able to do the same in the GUI by doing "Reload" and "Apply". But sometimes the terminal is better because either the GUI might not show all error messages or might break down if it receives an unexpected error message.
