Loving Linux, just because is an active - live system, i've (as a simple user) to add this: As more simple, as more practical is a system, so *successful* is.

To be able to help you we need some diagnostic information from your system.
Please open a terminal window (e.g. by simultaneously pressing ctrl-alt-t) and issue the commands

uname -a
lsb_release -crid
sudo apt-get update
sudo dpkg --audit

Finally use the terminal window's menu entries "edit - select all" and "edit - copy" and paste all output as new comment into this question document.
