I upgraded from 8.04 to 8.10, now I have 8.10:
No LSB modules are available.
Distributor ID: Ubuntu
Description: Ubuntu 8.10
Release: 8.10
Codename: intrepid

now the system still show me updates from 8.04, and "Can not upgrade An upgrade from 'intrepid' to 'hardy' is not supported with this tool." when I check for updates

Can you copy and paste here the contents of /etc/apt/sources.list, open a terminal and type:

gedit /etc/apt/sources.list

Then copy and paste here the result of:

lsb_release -cd
