Unable to mount ntfs partition

I suggest you run a full chkdsk on the partition in Windows to make sure the data is complete and consistent.

If the NTFS partition is on a USB storage, be sure you use the safe removal feature in your OS before you physically unplug it. This is important if you intend to use the storage in non-Windows OSes.
