Natty is no longer supported as of a few days ago. I suggest you update to either 12.04LTS supported to April 2017 or 12.10 supported till April 2014.

There are many versions depending on what you want and the specification of your PC you should be able find one you like.
would stick with 12.04 for now because more people have tested it. If you go for 12.10 then you may need to use a USB stick as some on the images are too big for a standard 700MB CD.

The good thing about Ubuntu is that all versions are "try before you commit"

I suggest you try each of live CD / USB first, Make sure everything works then when you have chosen the one you like do a full install

Downloads are available here. Make sure you check the MD5sum to ensure the download went OK.

See here: https://help.ubuntu.com/community/HowToMD5SUM

If you have any problems ask again here let us know which image you tried. Were there any problems running from the CD / USB stick and if not what happened when you tried to install.

Can you help with this problem?
