non va l' update-manager

Devi semplicemente correggere qualcosa di errato nel file /etc/apt/sources.list (alla riga 62 )

Apri unterminale e digita copia da qui ed incolla nel terminale la riga sottostante e poi premi invio:

gedit /etc/apt/sources.list

Copia tutto il contenuto del file ed incollalo qui...

Inoltre non dovevi aggiornare 10.10 a 11.10 saltando le release intermedie ma l'aggiornamento lo dovevi fare in questo modo:

10.10 → 11.04 → 11.10

mi togli una curiosità come hai fatto per aggiornare saltando una release intermedia... ?

hum! a meno che non ti confonda con i numeri di release a questo punto mi dai anche il risultato di questa riga digitata da un terminale:

lsb_release -crd

ciao:)allora ho aperto il terminale e ho fatto quello che hai detto...ho scritto copia da qui e mi fa comando non valido...poi allora ho provato a scrivere il comando come l'hai scritto e mi fa comunqe comando non valido...io ti dico cosa ho fatto in principio...allora ho un acer aspire 5552g ho installato su una partizione ubuntu 10.10 con dvd che mi ha dato un mio prof...poi ho scaricato l'11.10 x 64 bit(dato che ho su anche windows da 64 bit)da internet e aprendo la boot usb mi veniva l'opzione "aggiorna linux"(o qualcosa del genere) invece che installarlo su una partizione esistente xcio ho fatto cosi...altrimenti avrei semplicemente formattato la partizione con ubuntu nella vecchia versione e avrei proseguito nell'istallazione...

ho rifatto tutto aggiungendo sudo all'inizio del comando e mi è venuta fuori una finestra con scritto sourcelist...solo che è vuota perciò non saprei che incollare...

Devi stare attento a cosa scrivi.... seleziona questa riga da qui e poi con il tasto destro seleziona copia

gedit /etc/apt/sources.list

Poi apri un terminale lasciando questa finestra aperta e nel nero del terminale clicca con il tasto destro e seleziona incolla e poi dai invio.
