when updating i get half way through and see :

I'm using maverick 10.10 X86

Think i'm also having trouble with Applications>preferred Applications and the multimedia settings.

Are there any bugs reported?

Maverick is EOL (End of life, unsupported) as of April this year so I advise you upgrade soon. Natty also dies in October 2012 too
