update-manager package

Updates coming through everyday yet still saying they out of date. Why is this happening?

I Update my Laptop every time I'm online through the update manager, however recently my computer has been saying my system is out of date.

I went to check for update and there were none yet the message remains.

Help!!!

Can you give the output of:

cat /etc/lsb-release; sudo apt-get update; sudo apt-get -y upgrade

Copy the command and press CTRL+ALT+T

paste in the command and hit ENTER. Copy the output and paste the output here as an update

You didn't run the full command I gave. Can you run the WHOLE command and paste the output. There is no length restriction.

it is and does. you just get no visual feedback. just type your password and hit enter.
