Software auto updater warning icon in task bar wont go away ?
Asked by
William Gamache
I am using ubuntu 11.10 on gateway 6020gz laptop... I click on the warning icon and get the message : The update information is outdated. This may be caused by network problems or by an outdated repository that is no longer available. Please update manually by clicking this icon and selecting " Check for updates " and check if some of the list repositories fail. But when I do this it says there are no available updates. At the top it says" You have not checked for updates in 12 days. There maybe available updates for you. I Know I have updated just a couple of days ago... Please help...
