aggiornamento software

con il mio HP-Mini-110-3100
ho istallato LUBUNTU dopo i primi aggiornamenti non si riesce più ad aggiornate e mi dice che c'è un problema con il repository...
quindi ho provato con il terminale ma... stesso risultato, sia che usi il server principale che quello da Italia e mi scrive:

E: Impossibile scaricare alcuni file di indice: saranno ignorati o verranno usati quelli vecchi.

cosa devo fare?

Altra domanda....perchè avviando da cd rom non si riesce a riparare i file con utility disco? volevo tentare una riparazione ma...niente da fare!

Ti avevo già risposto di la, copio e incollo.
Fai così:
1. Apri un terminale premendo CTRL + ALT + T
2. Inserisci questo comando e premi invio:
software-properties-gtk

3. Nella finestra che si apre, alla parte dove dice "Installabile da CD-ROM/DVD" togli la spunta all'unica voce che c'è. Ti chiederà la password, inseriscila, poi clicca su chiudi.
4. Nel terminale ora esegui questo comando:
sudo apt-get update

Non dovrebbe darti più problemi.

ma...nulla di fatto: nella casella suddetta non c'è nulla da spuntare. per altro ho pure il cd inserito ma non lo vede...

sudo gedit /etc/apt/sources.list

Ora ti si apre una finestra, in questa finestra devi modificare le prime due righe, queste:

come programmi ho abword, libre office, Leafpad, Xpad

Ok allora prova a lanciare questo comando ora
sudo leafpad /etc/apt/sources.list

e poi fai ciò che ho scritto prima, questo:

ora L'aggiornamento pacchetti è stato fatto e non mi ha più dato il problema della repository.
