It seems to be an error;
"Failed to download repository information"

How to cleanup repository packages?
What CLI to use in terminal?

The xbmc doesn't support natty, it only supports up to Maverick:

http://ppa.launchpad.net/team-xbmc/ppa/ubuntu/dists/

So I suggest you remove the PPA

I have updated to Ubuntu 11.10 without any issue.

Can close this case now.
