electricity gone, while upgrading to ubuntu11.10

while upgrading to ubuntu11.10,
it was installing upgrades, and electricity had gone.

now it shows black screen .
listing cups status
nginx status etc.

so how to fix it?

Hold shift at boot, select the natty kernel then select netroot. You can now run:

sudo apt-get -f install

If power outages are common, I suggest a UPS to keep the system running when there is no power
