update-manager package

after installing the suggested updates as shown by my update manager it keeps telling me that my system was last updated 109 days ago

as usual updates pop up on my system, but after following the usual procedure of installing them, it is always writing to inform me that the package information was last updated on the 12 of June . so i'm worried: could it be that the updates are not been installed afterall?

Thanks. You suggested that I "log this as a bug". please, what exactly does
that mean, and how do I do it?

Open a terminal and type:

ubuntu-bug update-manager

a browser will open launchpad page follow the instruction...

if you reboot, it should be fine
