How to Rollback Kernel Update?
An update via was available in the updated manager. It included an update to generic kernel 2.6.38.11.26.
After installing the update networking is no longer functioning properly. I am using an Acer Aspire 4520 laptop. Previous both Ethernet and wireless were both functioning normally. After the update wireless is no longer functioning.
In the network manager Wireless Networking is a selectable option, but the options for selecting a network are grayed out.
Ethernet does function, but takes about 4-5 minutes for it to activate after booting to the desktop. Before the update both Ethernet and Wireless were working properly.
My Acer Aspire 4520 has an onboard Nvidia network adapter and Atheros wireless adapter. As stated before, they were both working before installing the update in the Update Manager.
How can I get wireless working again? Or, how can I roll back to the previous kernel?
