Do you talk about 11.04 unity?

1) Will work in gnome and unity: press ALT+F2 and enter "update-manager"
2) In unity: click the ubuntu symbol at the upper left and enter "update-manager". You can also right-click "applications" and then click at "system".
3) It's located in /usr/bin/update-manager
