Update manager bug

Can you please help me!
A problem occurred when checking for the updates.E: Type 'xt/ubuntu' is not known on line 1 in source list /etc/apt/sources.list.d/mozillateam-thunderbird-next-maverick.list
E: The list of sources could not be read.
Go to the repository dialog to correct the problem.
E: _cache->open() failed, please report.

Open your Terminal and issue the following commands below:

Remove the problem file:

sudo rm /etc/apt/sources.list.d/mozillateam-thunderbird-next-maverick.list

and do a system update and upgrade:

sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get upgrade

Ian Ace,My problem is solved.What a relief!That is the reason i love this linux community so much - always prepared to help in a unselfish way- that after all is the true meaning of Ubuntu!!
