Show when last updated?

Asked by drieteenmeeuw

Would it be possible/handy to have a little drop-box/comment drawn, telling the user when the last update (or check for updates) was performed, when the user moves his mouse over the update-manager icon? If so, then I wouldn't have to remember if I had checked for new updates already today. Just an idea...

Many thanks,

Maarten

Hi:

You should file a bug, like this:
https://bugs.edge.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/update-manager/+bug/17717
I would recommend if in the summary you added something like: [Wishlist] or [Wish]
I think it could be a good idea too
