dont understand what the error is or means

I get that error at the end of update manager I dont know what it means

Try switching to the main update server, as described in step 1 at https://help.ubuntu.com/community/PackageManagerTroubleshootingProcedure. Or use the procedure at http://linax.wordpress.com/2009/07/14/apt-get-complain-the-following-signatures-couldnt-be-verified-because-the-public-key-is-not-available/ to try to import the key.

If neither of those techniques works, please post again.

You have not authorised the digital signature key for launchpad.
