I am using Ubuntu, I would like to upgrade linux edition, I am living in Saudi Arabia, how can I get the linux?

What version do you have currently: 10.04, 8.04 or another one ?

what you are using is linux only.ubuntu is a linux operating system.which is free.please read the documentation.thanks

10.04 is a LTS (Long Term Support) versions which is managed at least 3 years. Other versions are managed only 18 months.
Open update-manager (System->Administration->Update Manager) and unselect "Upgrade only to LTS" (else you will have to wait release of 12.04!). After validation, you should get a new button allowing you to upgrade to 10.10.
