There is no accumulated update package (or update CD image, or any other such thing) available for download. As I mentioned in that thread, you have these choices:

(1) You can find out all the packages that would be updated, and download them manually. This is a lot of work, so I don't recommend it. You would have to manually download hundreds of packages.

(2) You can use Keryx (http://keryxproject.org/), which provides a graphical user interface. This is a system for automatically downloading the necessary packages on another computer, and then installing them on your computer. I recommend you use this.

(3) Your can use apt-offline (https://help.ubuntu.com/community/InstallingSoftware#Use%20apt-offline, see also http://www.debian-administration.org/article/Offline_Package_Management_for_APT), which is another such system. apt-offline is a console program. It has been around longer than Keryx, but you may find it less intuitive. But if you choose to use it, it should serve you well.

You can switch from any of these three methods to any other one of these three methods at any time, and even combine them, to a degree. Assuming you need help, please let me know which one you want to use. If you choose to use Keryx or apt-offline (and I recommend you use one of those), then please check out the resources that I linked to, as they explain how to use these programs pretty well. This may decrease or eliminate your need for my help.

Can you help with this problem?
