apt-get error: Setting up firmware-b43-installer (4.150.10.5-4) -> Not supported low-power chip with PCI id 14e4:4315! -> aborting -> dpkg: error processing firmware-b43-installer (--configure)

Asked by Jamurck

With each software update and when loading additional apps I get error messages, however it doesn't appear to prevent the intall. I have the details from the last error - quite long so I've copied only that which I suspect is causing this:
Unpacking replacement liblcms1 ...

Setting up firmware-b43-installer (4.150.10.5-4) ...

Not supported low-power chip with PCI id 14e4:4315!

Aborting.

dpkg: error processing firmware-b43-installer (--configure):

subprocess installed post-installation script returned error exit status 1

Setting up libc-dev-bin (2.12.1-0ubuntu10.1) ...

No apport report written because MaxReports is reached already

Setting up libc6-dev (2.12.1-0ubuntu10.1) ...

Setting up liblcms1 (1.18.dfsg-1ubuntu2.10.10.1) ...

Processing triggers for libc-bin ...

ldconfig deferred processing now taking place

Errors were encountered while processing:

Appears to have solved my problem. One note: when I check the package, the initial option is the remove the package. However, once checked, the option to install was presented. There was one update available to load and it completed without error. Thanks for help.
