Update problem

I can' t update from 10.04 to 10.10. There is only an option for partial update. Why is that?

Can you give the output of:

lsb_release -a; sudo apt-get update; sudo apt-get -y upgrade

Could you check in preferences of startup-manager, that you are not restricted to LTS (Long Term Support) Version.
