Try using the baobab tool to find the big files on your disk, the delete them. Make sure you backup anything important.

http://www.marzocca.net/linux/baobab/

You can install it as part of the gnome-utils package, either through your package manager, or by using a terminal and the command "sudo aptitude install gnome-utils"

You can also gain a little bit of space by cleaning your package cache, either through the package manager or by "sudo aptitude clean"

Please open a Terminal from the menu Applications → Accessories → Terminal and type or better copy from here and paste into terminal the row below then press enter:

sudo apt-get clean; sudo apt-get update; sudo apt-get dist-upgrade; sudo apt-get clean

give your user password when requested, you don't see nothing when you type it, then press enter.

Then type or better copy from here and paste into terminal the row below then press enter:

df -h; dpkg -l | grep -i linux-image

Copy and paste the result here

Thank you
