Alternate install of 10.10 stops at 73%of updating packages

I tried to boot from alternate installer of maverick meerkat desktop iso.
it stops at 73 percent stage of updating list of packages.
after waiting for fifteen minutes i rebooted.
that time the message comes reboot requested and reboots.

it is a bug only. because i tried two times. both times it stops at 73 per cent of updating list of packages.

please help.

Is there an option to self check the installer in the menu ? That's worth a try...
