Ubuntu 10.04 repeats itself updating the kernel

I'm using Ubuntu 10.04 on a new machine since May 1st.
Today for the third time the updatemanager asks to install 4 safety updates.

I followed the request, installed the updates en on request restarted my computer.

Everything looks fine and my update manager disappears from my screen. But keeps coming back.
What is wrong?

try to update using the command line:
sudo apt-get update
then
sudo apt-get upgrade

Update manager incl. notes about each update.
Those 4 sec updates concerned linux-kernel, the next 4 concerned the same packages because a patch was reversed, according to bug report number mentioned in note.
