Can I upgrade from 9.10 UNR to 10.04 UNR via update manager.

I have 9.10 UNR installed on a Dell mini 9, can I upgrade to 10.04 UNR via update manager, although update manager say upgrade available will it allow me to install 10.04 UNR and not the full release, or do I need to do a complete install via USB as I did for 9.10 UNR, also will my settings, files, contacts etc be retained ? I presume that update of Ubuntu UNR 10.04 means also update of all components of Ubuntu in 10.04.

Hi Andy..

[1] ALLWAYS backup. If in doubt keep a copy of ya /home folder.

[2] Errors are possible. Foreign software may break the install and the install may break foreign software.

Upgrade will take UNR 9.10 to UNR 10.04.

Setings and data will be retained [1] [2]

@ login screen select from UNR or GNOME (standard version)
