Hi tarung1793,

If you do your updates you'll automatically upgrade to Karmic final release when it will be ready.

From beta to final release it's supposed that only bug fixes will be include. It's a bit hard to predict exactly what will change but you should expect better stability and the same features.

Yes is possible to upgrade karmic using a daily alternate build.

I have upgraded a pc with an ubuntu 9.04 today ( 14 Oct 09 ) using the daily alternate build and it worked.
No success with 12 and 13 October daily alternate build i get some error.

The alternate build can be faulty, is not a release, is a build.

Please note: only the "alternate" images can be used to upgrade an installed system.
The daily "live" image can be used only to install a fresh system, usually is better to use a official release build (i.e a Beta).

Once the system is upgraded then you can simply do the regular upgrades to be able to have the final release...

The daily alternate live cd build... are here http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/daily/

Strongly suggested to download the alternate builds using Ubuntu because using

jigdo-lite or zsync

we can keep the alternate updated every day in less of 10 minutes...

But you don't need to do this... you need to do this if a daily alternate doesn't works.

I you want more details about the best way to download every day alternate and/or daily builds please open a new question.

Hope this helps
