EeePC 1005p Ubuntu 10.04 netbook edition wireless issue

hi, i have installed ubuntu remix for netbook 10.4 on my wifes eeepc and she loves it. everything is working great with one minor inconvenience: everytime she boots the computer, she has to manually connect to the wireless network. not a big deal, she clicks on network manager and selects the network.
Just wondering if there is a way to automate the connection to the preferred network.

If she doesn't use 3G then install wicd and you can tell it to automagically connect.

well, now I am feeling dumb, all i had to do is to mark "Connect Automatically" under Edit Connection window in network connections
