building trouble: *** No rule to make target `libltdl/libltdlc.la', needed by `libodbcinst.la'

I downloaded the source code package "unixodbc_2.2.14p2.orig.tar.gz" and "unixodbc_2.2.14p2-5ubuntu3.diff.gz" from http://packages.ubuntu.com/source/precise/unixodbc to my ubuntu 12.04 LTS (precise) OS, and unpacked them and patched the diff for unixodbc_2.2.14p2.orig, and then performed the following command "./configure --enable-gui=no & make" to build it. but the error "*** No rule to make target `libltdl/libltdlc.la', needed by `libodbcinst.la'." is occured during building so that it is failed. so was this a bug? what did the error mean and how did to resovle it, please?

That should be relevant to the unixodbc_2.2.14p2-5ubuntu3.diff patch because I built it successfully without the .diff patch. so I think there is something wrong with the patch. please review the patch file carefully!
