Ability to switch to windowed mode from settings app (Unity8)

Asked by zubozrout

Hi,
as @Michael Zanetti correctly pointed out in this bug report discussion: https://bugs.launchpad.net/canonical-pocket-desktop/+bug/1515977 that windowed mode is a valid usecase for ubuntu tablets etc, I would like to ask about the ability to switch to windowed mode using settings app. This can currently only be performed from command-line or using some tweak tool available through open store. But in my humble opinion this should be made official, at least on tablets - but why not have it present in the settings for all form factors then.
Additionally, another settings for changing DPI would be advisable, something similar to the scaling currently present in Unity 7. This would especially be helpful on tablets as well, where one may expect the device being controlled via external mouse or with fingers - and each case may require different DPI.

What do you think? Any thoughts?
Thank you very much for your feedback.

If there is a bug reported, why is there a necessity for a question as well?

Because if you look at that bug report it is not related to my question at all.
