It appears there might be some confusion in your question. Ubuntu 14.04 Trusty Tahr with XFCE is an older version of Ubuntu, and it reached its end of life in April 2019. As a result, it's advisable to upgrade to a newer and supported version of Ubuntu to benefit from security updates and newer software.
