Lost Network Manager in Kubuntu 1310
After last update I lost all visible network manager tools. There is no way to bring up what my network adapters are or how they connect, install VPN etc. Lost all net stuff except there is a network in settings that leads to dead ends. I'M in KUBU 1310

Do you use VPN, or do you just log in and use the system?
Thanks

I currently just log in and use the system. I have a VPN I subscribe to that I want to install & I would like to go mobile and get Wifi's when I am out. I am unable to log into my 4G phone or use a usb tether. Kubu LTS is awesome and I upgraded from that. What went wrong? or is 1310 not as good?
What is the output of:
ps -ef | grep network
Thanks

stanbar@ubuntu:~$ ps -ef | grep network
root 1679 758 0 08:43 ? 00:00:00 /sbin/dhclient -d -sf /usr/lib/
stanbar 2150 2100 0 08:49 pts/1 00:00:00 grep --color=auto network
Then press ALT+F2 and run:
knetworkmanager
Or try with a hyphen:
knetwork-manager
