unity --reset: dconf reset -f /org/compiz/, setsid unity

Asked by SoloTurn

with 12.10 unity --reset is gone. unity/compiz is now using gsettings instead of compiz.

  dconf reset -f /org/compiz/
  setsid unity

to check current settings and backup one might use:
  dconf dump /org/compiz/

Sorry this forum is for questions, this apears to be a tip, not a question. Also I think on the first line should be with 12.10 unity --reset is gone. unity/compiz is now using DCONF instead of GSETTINGS. Thanks
