How do I remove web apps from launcher?

Asked by Alan Morgan

Hello,

I added a web app to the launcher when prompted, but I changed my mind about it. It appears only in the launcher when I visit the associated website because it isn't locked to the launcher, but I no longer want this icon to appear in the launcher when I visit the site or at any other time.

I removed the Firefox add-on responsible for web apps, tried to see if removing the icon had something to do with its quicklist, tried to see if it had something to do with the Ubuntu Software Centre and I haven't seen a solution to the problem.

I hope that somebody will be able to help me with this.

Go to software-center, type "unity-webapps-" (without quotes) in the search query and remove the webapp in question.
