Fade out/in transparency effects with unity desktop

Asked by Sourajit Basak

Is it possible to achieve a fade out/in transparency effect with unity desktop; i.e when the user right clicks on the empty part of the menu bar, the top most window fades and reveals the one below. It may a left click as well, all I mean is, any key that has no action associated with the empty regions of the menu bar.

Unity is a shell. Gnome is the desktop :)

You can run ccsm and there is the animations option (shown as a genie lamp), you can set animations there.

Can you help with this problem?
