what kind of motherboard and how much RAM can it use?

Can someone tell me if I can see in UBUNTU what kind of motherboard there is in my pc. I can hear the pc uses the harddrive much, I think it could use more ram.
My processor is intell Celeron (Coppermine) (386) and memory: 369.1 MiB
