Just upgraded from 11.10 to 12.04 and now some apps will not launch from the launch bar

Asked by Peter Harris

Since upgrade to 12.04 some apps will not launch from launch bar. Firefox did not launch at first but now does. Thunderbird, OCRfeeder and simple backup do not launch. All apps launch from Dash Home.

Yes. Also, if I right click the icon and select from the menu it works.

Hi Peter,

you can also try running this command in terminal: unity --reset.

It might fix this errors.

Miha
