After Enabling the HUD, Global Menu No Long Fully Accessible
I have noticed something very odd the last few days with Unity in Ubuntu 12.04. I am very pleased with this release of Ubuntu, but this bug is kind of annoying and I wanted to make sure others are seeing this issue before I post a bug.
Basically, lets say I am in an application and accidentally hold down the ALT key too long (launching the HUD in error). If I close the HUD without actually launching any commands (I think I hit ESC or something), most of the global menus will no longer work.
The exact symptom is that when you hover over the top bar, you will see the menus only appear if you hover over your maximize, minimize, close buttons, but if you don't move quickly enough over to the global menu, it will disappear before you have a chance to select anything.
Once this starts happening, it affects a number of applications, but oddly, not all of them. The only way to stop this from happening is to log out of the session and log back in.
This has happened a few times, but I cannot say exactly when it starts (because I don't use global menus a lot). Is anyone else running into this issue? I mean still just open a bug regardless, but wanted to ask the community first.
Thanks.
