Unity: no applications in Dash Home

Asked by Mutech

Hello,

I've just updated Ubuntu x64 from 11.10 to 12.04. Now i can't find anything but music from the Dash Home button. No apps, no files... only music.

Any way to fix this?

Thank you all :)

If you make a fresh user, is it ok?

Hi,

If i make a fresh user, yes!! It is OK. I can see apps and everything using the Dash Home button.

But with my default user i don't know how to make it work.

Thank you.

Check if you might not have proper rights to read or write in this folders.

Yes I have the proper rights for the files. And I have the rights too to launch an app. like Transmission. If I launch it using ALT+F2 I have no problem but it won't appear when clicking the Dash Home, only music...

I have found the solution :D

All I have done is remove everything in $HOME/.local/share/zeitgeist/ and then reboot.

Thank you all :)
