lost background color in tool/menu bars

Asked by leroy

Did something wrong while experimenting in ubuntu 11.10 and wiped the background shading in the toolbar / menu bar displays leaving just the black border-lines.
The wallpaper itself is fine,so are display icons etc. Function is not affected but It's distracting nonetheless. Thx for any advice.

Where did you experiment? Which application, does the application have an option to revert the change?

This is for Unity.
Please open a terminal: ctrl+alt+t
Enter:
unity --reset

Logout-in.

btw. the login page has options which session to login to, are you logged in to Ubuntu (aka Unity) session, Unity-2d or something else?

Can you help with this problem?
