I have purchased Acer netbook having intel N2800 atom processor. Which is the best ubuntu os for this netbook

It has windows7 starter 32 bit os preinstalled. It is showing bootmgr error. I want to remove this os and instead want to install Ubuntu. Can you please suggest which version of ubuntu will be best for this netbook?

How much RAM do you have and what speed is the CPU?

RAM is 2gb DDR3 and cpu speed is 1.86hz

You have enough grunt for a full Ubuntu + (Unity or Gnome shell) or even KDE if you wish (Default in KUbuntu) if you wish.

Xubuntu or Lubuntu use fewer resources and will give a more responsive OS but you have no limits with your hardware at all.
