Why does Unity 2D have better graphics and GUI than Unity 3D?! I want Unity 3D also to have the same features. Why isn't anyone changing this?

You need 3D accelleration to run the 3D version.

Can you give the output of:

sudo lshw -C display; lsb_release -a; uname -a

3D has more features than 2D as it uses compiz which gives the effects but also other things

How do you enable it? Can you explain it more elaborately please?
