How to get a terminal window in ubuntu 12.04

I am trying to get a terminal window and dont know how to do it as I cant install my wireless card

Press CTRL+ALT+T

If you use terminal a lot then I suggest you install guake (Or yakuake in Kubuntu) so you can show and hide a terminal with a shortcut key. Dead handy
