Asked by Alicia Collins

There is no "close", "minimize", nor "fullscreen" buttons in the top left corner of any window that I open. How do I fix it?

Hello Alicia Collins
can you please open terminal by pressing CTRL+ALT+T then copy and paste the command listed below in and press enter

lsb_release -a && uname -a && sudo lshw

please post the output of those commands here for review.

then please make sure you are up to date on your updates by running in terminal
sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get upgrade

then please run the command
compiz --replace

does this resolve your issues?
